About Us
The Alyssa Burnett Unspoken Angel Invitational was founded by Charlie and Barbara Burnett in 2003 to support their dream to create a program that would enhance their daughter's quality of life and provide a strong support system in her years beyond the education system.
Most importantly, the Burnetts envisioned a place that fostered inclusion in a progressive, warm and vibrant community. It turned out others also believed in a brighter future for adults living with developmental disabilities. With that, the Alyssa Burnett Unspoken Angel Invitational, an auction and golf tournament created to raise funds to continue the ambitious vision, was born.
The Friends of Alyssa Burnett Center Guild is a special interest guild of Seattle Children's. The guild was founded by parents and friends of adults with developmental disabilities in the Seattle area. As volunteers, we are working together to raise awareness and funds to support meaningful activities, rich friendships and a sense of purpose. If you are interested in learning how to get involved with the guild, please contact Leslie Fox at leslie.a.fox@comcast.net.
Last year's event was a huge success, raising $300,000 for the Alyssa Burnett Center. We are very excited about the event this year and hope to see you there! To learn more, please visit the Center by clicking here.
